د افغانستان بیرغ چي د محمدي بیرغ په نامه هم په يادېږي، سپین رنګ لري او په منځ کي یې اوله کلمه او تر اولې کلمې لاندې د افغانستان اسلامي امارت ليکلۍ وي. دا بیرغ لومړي ځل په کال ۱۹۹۶م کي د افغانستان پر ارګ ماڼۍ ورپول سو. په ۲۰۰۱م کال د امريکايي اشغالګرو په ملاتړ د شمالي ټلولۍ حکومت جوړ او ورسره د طالبانو حکومت او سپین بیرغ دواړه رسماً له منځه ولاړل. خو په شاوخوا ۲۰۰۴م کال کي د طالبانو د غورځنګ غړو بېرته تر همدې سپين بیرغ تر سایې لاندي خپل سياسي او وسله واله مبارزه پیل کړه چي په پایله کي یې د ۲۰۲۱م کال د اګست پر ۱۵مه بیرته همدغه بیرغ پر ارګ ماڼۍ ورپول سو.

د افغانستان همدا اوسنۍ( 🇦🇫 )ملي بیرغ چي تور، سور او زرغون رنګ لري په 1973 کال دشهید داوودخان له لوري په رسمي توګه وټاکل سو اوهمدغه دافغانستان دخلکو، ملي هویت او افغان تاریخ ریښتني استازیتوب کوي چي تاریخ یې دغازي امان الله خان مخکي دورې اودانګرېزانو په وړاندي دافغانانو دمبارزې ښکارندویي ته ورګرځي.
د غازي امان الله خان له لوري تر خپلواکۍ اخیستلو وروسته چي د افغانستان په تاریخ کي کوم بیرغونه له پورتني بیرغ څخه ماسېوا په نورو رنګونو او بڼو رامنځ ته سوي یا د حکومتونو له لوري ټاکل سوي دي هغه ټول شخصي او ګوندیزه بڼه لري او هیڅ یوهم د افغانستان استازیتوب نه کوي. د یادو بیرغونو څخه مشهوره هغه یې د خلق ګوند سور بیرغ، د مجاهدینو تور، سپین او زرغون بیرغ، د حزب اسلامي زرغون بیرغ او د طالبانو اړوند سپین بیرغ یادولای سو.

A new seal was designed, with a rising sun (a reference to the former name, Khorasan, meaning "Land of the Rising Sun"), a pulpit and the Qur'an for Islam, ribbons with the national colors, a cogwheel for industry, and a red star for communism. |

1:2 | د افغانستان اسلامي انتقالي دولت | This flag consists of three vertical stripes of the colors black, red, and green. This has been present on most flags of Afghanistan in the last twenty years. The center emblem is the classical emblem of Afghanistan with a mosque with its mihrab facing Mecca. This flag is similar to the one flown in Afghanistan during the monarchy between 1930 and 1973. The difference is the addition of the shahadah at the top of the coat-of-arms (seen in gold/yellow) in the center. It now shows the year ١۲۹٨ (1298), the solar Islamic calendar equivalent of 1919 AD of the Gregorian Calendar, the year of independence from Great Britain. |
