Dear Ketabtoon Salamoona

I am glad that you are also one of the active editer of Wikipedia. I would like you to know that in order to become the administrator of wikipedia you have to make at least 500 articles.

I would really like to make you one of the admins because of your commitment that you will work actively to improve the pashto wikipedia. I am away for some months and i dont have access to the internet, when i will be back, i will have to make some serious changes in pashto wikipedia. there are people using wikipedia anonymously and i will have to do something in this regard. I will also impose the criteria of writing new articles, and will remove the New article adding options from the Main page. it is because some people think that wikipedia is simply a database of registering people and they write about themselves, while it is not for that purpose.

For now i advise you to keep expanding wikipedia. in January i will be back to wikipedia and make those chanes that i have just mentioned above.

Why do you change the direction of the pictures to right?

Please dont change the direction of the pictures, from left to right

The direction of the image was set so it will be located at the left side of the page. If you write "left", it will place the image on the right and if you add "right", it will set the image on the left side of the page. That is because wikipedia's direction is set to "direction:rtl;".

And, the article is much more neater if the first image at the top of the page is located on the left side for "right-to-left" languages while it is the reverse for "left-to-right" languages. Check other Wikipedias to see what I am saying.

لودين صيب ښې چارې. تر دې دمخه چې د ايران د ولسواليو په اړه سرليکونه او ليکنې خپرې کړو يو څه بايد روښانه شي او هغه دا چې د ايران سياسي جغرافي وېش چې په لاندې ډول ترتيب شوی:

استان = Province = ولايت

شهرستان = county = ښارګوټی

ناحيه = District = ولسوالۍ

شهر = city = ښار

ده = Village = کلی

د دغه وېش له مخې کاونټي يا County ته بايد ښارګوټی ووييل شي خو زه پوره ډاډه نه يم چې په پښتو ژبه کې کاونټي ته بل نوم هم شته او که همدا ښارګوټی ورته کارېږي. دا ځکه چې ښارګوټی د وړوکي ښار په مانا هم افاده کېږي. نو تر څو چې د کاونټي د مانا سپيناوی کېږي بايد انتظار وباسو او د ايران د ښارګوټو او د ايران د ولسواليو تر مېنځ ورانپوهاوی و نه کړو. تاسو هم خپلې هلې ځلې وکړۍ او د کاونټي کره پښتو انډول په موندلو کې زموږ مرستيال شۍ.

The following guide at English wikipedia makes the administrative divisions of Iran very clear as well. However, it looks like there isn't much available on district divisions of Iran as it is not covered at all by the English wikipedia.

"Shargotay" would make it sound more like a smaller city, as you mentioned. "The world Shahrestan comes from the Persian language words shahr and ostan, which mean city (or town) and province, respectively. The nearest equivalent of Shahrestan in English would be sub-province or county."

It might be a good idea to come up with a precise definition or word for "County". I checked qamosona.com before I even started creating articles for the counties. They were not very clear either, but "woloswalai" was the closest word I could get from there. (Ketabtoon 19:57, 2 اګسټ 2011 (UTC))
