Simple Past Tense مطلقه تیره شوی زمانه
Simple Past Tense is used to show an action which took place at a specific time in the past and finished now.
Structure:
A. F= S + V2 + Complement.
Q. F= Did + S + V + Complement?
N. F= S + Did + Not + V + Complement.
N.I. F= Did + S + Not + V + Complement?
Ex. I went to a restaurant.
Ex. Did I go to a restaurant?
Ex. I did not go to a restaurant.
Ex. Did I not go to a restaurant?
Simple Future Tenseراتلونکی یا مستقبله زمانه
Simple Future Tense is used to show an action which will take place in a specific time in the future.
Structure1:
A.F= S + Will/ shall + V + Complement.
Q.F= Will + S + V + Complement?
N.F= S + Will + Not + V + Complement.
N.I.F= Will + S + Not + V + Complement?
Ex. I shall meet you.
Ex. Shall I meet you?
Ex. I shall not meet you.
Ex. Shall I not meet you?
Ex. We shall come here next week.

A.F= S + to be + going to + V + Complement.
Q.F= To be + S + going to + V + Complement?
N.F= S + to be + not + going to + V + Complement.
N.I.F=To be + S + Not + going to + V + Complement?
Ex. She is going to visit her mother.
Ex. Is she going to visit her mother?
Ex. She is not going to visit her mother.
Ex. Is she not going to visit her mother?
Note: It is mentionable that the second formula (To be going to) is used informally to show intention.
Past Progressive (continuous) Tense
تیره جاری یا استمراري زمانه
Past Progressive Tense shows the duration of an action which was going on over a specific period of time in the past.
Structure:
A. F= S + Was/Were + V ing + Complement.
Q. F= Was/Were + S + V ing + Complement?
N. F= S + was /were + Not + V ing + Complement.
N.I.F=Was/Were + S + Not + V ing + Complement?
Ex. Ahmad was painting the wall.
Ex. Was Ahmad Painting the wall?
Ex. Ahmad was not painting the wall.
Ex. Was Ahmad not painting the wall?
Present Perfect Tense زمانه اوسنی بشپړه یا نیژدی ماضی
Present perfect tense is used to show an action which started and finished in unspecific time in the past.
Structure:
A. F= S + Have/Has + V3 + Complement
Q.F= Have/Has + S + V3 + Complement?
N. F= S + Have/Has + Not +V3 + Complement.
N.I.F= Have/Has + S + Not + V3 + Complement?
Ex. I have visited Paris.
Ex. Have I visited Paris?
Ex. I have not visited Paris.
Ex. Have I not visited Paris?
Future progressive(continuous)Tense
راتلونکی جاري زمانه
Future Progressive Tense is used to show the duration of an action which will be in progress at in a specific time in the future.
Structure:
A.F= S + shall/will + be + ving + Complement.
I .F= Shall/will + S + be + ving + complement?
N.F= S + Shall/will + Not + be + ving + complement.
N.IF= Shall/will + S + Not + be + ving + complement?
EX: I shall be watching the TV.
EX: Shall I be watching the TV?
EX: I shall not be watching the TV.
EX: Shall I not be watching the Tv?

A.F= S + Tobe + going to + be + Ving + Complement.
I.F= To be +S + going to + be + Ving + Complement?
N.F= S + Tobe+ Not + going to + Ving + Compement.
N.I.F= To be +S + Not +going to + Ving + Complement?
EX: They are going to be playing football.
EX: Are they going to be playing football?
EX: They are not going to be playing football.
EX: Are they not going to be playing football?
Past Perfect Tense لری تیره شوی زمانه
Past Perfect Tense shows an action which started before time of speaking in the past and it was just finished or in the other hand past perfect tense shows an action which was completed before another action in the past.
Structures
A.F= S + Had + V3 + Complement.
Q.F= Had + S + V3 + Complement?
N.F= S + Had + Not + V3 + Complement.
N.I.F= Had + S + Not+V3 + Complement?
Ex. I had fixed the picture on the wall.
Ex. Had I fixed the picture on the wall?
Ex. I had not fixed the picture on the wall.
Ex. Had I not fixed the picture on the wall?

Future Perfect Tense Shows an action which will have been completed before some specified time or before another action in the future.

A.F= S + Will/Shall + Have + V3 + Complement.

N.F= S + Will/Shall + Not + Have + V3 + Complement.
N.I.F= Will/Shall + S + Not + Have + V3 + Complement?
Ex. She will have prepared every thing.
Ex. Will she have prepared every thing?
Ex. She will not have prepared every thing.

Present Perfect Progressive Tense is used to show the duration of an action which started in the past, continue to present and still continuing.
Structure:
A. F= S + Have / has + been + V ing + Complement.
Q. F= Have/Has + S + been +V ing + Complement?
N.F= S + Have/Has + Not + been + V ing + Complement.
N.I.F= Have/Has + S + Not + been + V ing + Complement?
Ex. She has been cooking lunch.
Ex. Has she been cooking lunch?
Ex. She has not been cooking lunch.
Ex. Has she not been cooking lunch?

N.F= S + Shall/Will + Not + Have + Been + Ving + Complement.
N.I.F= Shall/Will + S+Not + Have + Been + Ving + Complement?
Ex. I will have been watching the TV.
