Translation of the week/Translation candidates

Hello! Sometimes I comment on the meta page m:Translation of the week/Translation candidates and I've noticed that recently the number of candidates and votes has been relatively low. More importantly, there is some unbalance in the group of 5-7 editors that usually comment, with 2-3 it-N users, 1-2 es-N, 1 sv-N, 1 zh-N. Is there any users from different language editions who would like to join? Suggesting articles to be translated may be considered just a game, but still it is a fun game once in a while and at least 2 to 4 language translation are added every week so it does have an impact on the global perception of a topic so it is worth that the selection represent the global language community. So, I though it would be nice to leave a reminder to some "minor" wikipedia to take a look...

Hello everybody! My name is Jaqen and I am a wikipedian from Italy. Together with Rossella and Martina we are working on Wikipedia 4 Refugees, a project with which we want to help asylum seekers and refugees in Italy to contribute to Wikipedia in their native language. Cleaning up files

Hello!

According to the wmf:Resolution:Licensing_policy all files need a valid license so it is possible to see the copyright of the file. Files that do not have a valid license should be deleted (or fixed).

So it is important that all active users make sure to check any files they may have uploaded and add the relevant information:

• Source: Where does the file come from? If oploader is the creator it could be a statement like “I made this file” or “I took this photo”. If from the Internet we need an URL.
• Author: Who is the creator or copyright holder? If uploader made it it could just be the user name.
• License: A formal license template like {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}}

I created some of the license templates you may need but make sure to create those that you need.

If the uploader is no longer active it may not be possible to save the file. Then the file have to be deleted.

Unused files on ځانگړی:ناکارېدلې_دوتنې could perhaps just be deleted because they are not in use.
